Overview
The Partnerships & Collaborations Unit serves as BoMRA’s focal point for strategic partnerships, resource mobilisation, and regulatory cooperation, driving collaborations that strengthen regulatory systems, institutional capacity, and public health outcomes in Botswana and across the region.
The Unit develops and manages mutually beneficial partnerships with government institutions, regulatory authorities, development partners, academia, industry, professional bodies, and international organisations to advance BoMRA’s mandate of protecting and promoting public health through effective regulation of medicines, medical devices, cosmetics, and other regulated health products.
By fostering collaboration, facilitating knowledge exchange, and mobilising technical and financial resources, the Unit supports regulatory excellence, innovation, harmonisation, and sustainable institutional development while positioning BoMRA as a trusted and internationally recognised National Regulatory Authority.
Strategic Mandate

BOCRA regulates telecommunications services in Botswana to ensure fair competition, affordable services, and universal access. The Authority monitors quality of service, approves tariffs, manages spectrum, and oversees interconnection agreements between operators.
