Call For Participation In The Cosmetics Stakeholder Engagement

The Botswana Medicines Regulatory Authority (BoMRA) invites Cosmetics stakeholders including; MAHs, Manufacturers, Distributors, Authorized Representatives etc.) to participate in a stakeholder engagement to discuss various issues as stated below.

Cosmetics Guideline
The Cosmetics Guideline was developed and subsequently approved and is now in use. Key areas will be highlighted.

BRIMS and Helpdesk
A walkthrough the listing of cosmetics through the self-service portal on BRIMS.

Listing walkthrough on BRIMS
A demonstration of how listing is done on the BRIMS system.

Other regulatory changes
Changes to import controls of cosmetics and introduction of fees.

The sessions will be scheduled as follows:
The engagement will be virtual with sessions on Tuesday the 31st of March 2026 from 0830 – to 1200 hrs. Participants can join virtually (Online Microsoft Teams) via a link to be sent to stakeholders that will register on the link below:
