JOB TITLE: ENFORCEMENT OFFICER (X1)
REPORTS TO: Manager, Enforcement

JOB PURPOSE:
To ensure compliance with the Medicines and Related Substance Act (2013) as well as other supporting national and international legal instruments.

MAIN DUTIES:
To conduct intelligence gathering about the potential sale of substandard and falsified medicines, medical products and cosmetics. Compile and maintain a tip-off database for investigation and carry out enforcement actions against violations of the MRSA.

Keep custody of exhibits and related materials and attend court proceedings if required.

To participate in the development of guidelines, manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the unit.

Participate in collaborative work with relevant stakeholders to build intelligence on illegal
activities in the pharmaceutical sector.

To prepare reports on enforcement activities


JOB TITLE: HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER
REPORTS TO: Manager, Human Resources

JOB PURPOSE:
The incumbent will provide various human resource professional and administrative services in the areas of recruitment, training and development, employee relations, pay and benefits, and employee wellness in accordance with policy and leading practices to support the achievement of the vision and mission of BOMRA

MAIN DUTIES:
You will support line managers to understand and implement HR policies to support the management of people and ensure their performance is aligned with the performance requirements of the Authority

You will implement the recruitment plans within stipulated timelines and report on progress. The incumbent will liaise with the Finance department to administer payroll and maintain employee records in accordance with policies.

You will oversee the wellness programs and ensure the deliverables as per the agreement with the service providers

You will coordinate the implementation of the new employee onboarding programme and report accordingly.
