SUMMARY:Complementary Medicines Stakeholder Engagement
DESCRIPTION:The Botswana Medicines Regulatory Authority (BoMRA) invites Com
 plementary Medicines stakeholders including\; (MAHs\, Manufacturers\, Dist
 ributors\, Authorized Representatives etc.) to participate in a stakeholde
 r engagement to discuss various issues as stated below.\n\nRegistration Gu
 idelines Amendments:\nThe Complementary Medicines Guideline has been revis
 ed to incorporate a riskbased approach to the assessment of complementary 
 medicines\nComplementary Medicines Regulation:\nA refresher will be provid
 ed on the applicable processes for complementary medicines\, including com
 mon deficiencies.\nComplementary Medicine Register:\nAs the register is be
 ing fully migrated\, all previously authorized products (Old products and 
 listed products) must be transferred onto the BRIMS platform to enhance pe
 rmit issuance.\nFood-Medicine Interphase Prod:\nA discussion will be held 
 on the classification of food and the scope it covers.\nThe sessions will 
 be scheduled as follows:\n\nThe engagement will be virtual with sessions o
 n Tuesday the 28th of October 2025 from 0830 to 1220 hrs.\n\nParticipants
